By downloading, installing, or using the WiFi FTP Server application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the application.
1. License Grant & Usage
We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use WiFi FTP Server strictly for your personal, non-commercial, or internal business file transfer purposes on Android devices owned or controlled by you.
2. User Responsibilities & Local Security
WiFi FTP Server allows computers and devices connected to your local network (Wi-Fi) to access files on your Android device:
- Network Security: You are solely responsible for ensuring that the Wi-Fi network to which your device is connected is secure (e.g. password-protected home or trusted private network).
- Authentication Credentials: When using the server in public or shared Wi-Fi environments, you are advised to set strong username and password credentials and disable anonymous access in Settings.
- Permissions & Storage Access: You control which storage locations (Internal Storage, SD Card, or sub-folders) are shared via the root directory selector.
3. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to use the application to:
- Transfer or distribute illegal, infringing, harmful, or unauthorized file content.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or modify any binary components of the application.
- Use the server for malicious network scanning or unauthorized penetration activities.
4. Intellectual Property
The application, including its source code, design, logos, graphics, icons, and original documentation, remains the exclusive property of WiFi FTP Server developers and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APPLICATION WILL OPERATE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF LOCAL NETWORK CONFLICTS.
6. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPERS OR DISTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNATIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, FILE CORRUPTION, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE APPLICATION.
